Photography Club of Assam, popularly known as PCA, is the home for photographers across boundaries. Founded on 8th April, 2012 at Dibrugarh, it has now emerged as one of the country’s finest Photographic organization. It has won various awards such as The Best Club Award in EMPA international Salon 2017 with more than 40 competing countries, Best Club Award in Indian Golden Digital Circuit 2016 with more than 50 competing countries, 3rd Best Club in Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) Interclub Contest 2015 and 5th Best Club in Federation of Indian Photography (FIP) Interclub Contest 2016. The individual awards of members in various competitions have crossed the century mark.
The popularity of PCA speaks of itself. The club has nearly 80,000 online members and nearly a thousand registered members, both of which are highest in India.

One photograph, selected every day from the thousands of photographs posted on the PCA Facebook Group, with almost 80000 (and growing) online members, is posted here as the best of the day. The selected POD automatically gets nominated to compete in the ‘Photo of the Day' Monthly Award. The winner of this award gets one Manfrotto Pixi which is sponsored by Manfrotto, along with a certificate from PCA. A section of POD gets wild card entry to PCA’s annual photography exhibition Pohor.
