5th Edition of the Biggest Photography Exhibition in Assam Concluded

    Guwahati, 7th August 2017: The 5th edition of POHOR, the biggest photography exhibition in Assam organised by The Photography Club of Assam (PCA)held at the State Art Gallery, Guwahati during the period from 5th August to 7th August 2017. The exhibition was inaugurated by renowned artist from Assam, Mr Noni Borpuzari.

    A total number of hundred photographs from some of the best photographers across the country displayed in the exhibition. These photographs were selected by a panel of judges through a year-long selection process. Speaking on the selection process, Mr.Bidyasagar Baruah, AFIAP, Honorary Chairman, PCA said, “We organise photography contest on a regular basis throughout the year on our facebook page and the best photographs from across the various categories have been selected for display. Apart from that, a couple of pictures have been selected for display which were submitted directly for the exhibition”

    During closing ceremony of Pohor 2017 some awards have also been announced and distributed amongst members. The Awards list has been attached separately.
